For children who have faced abuse, counseling is a crucial piece of the healing process.  However, often times they are going back to the room in which the abuse occurred, causing those uncertain and fearful feelings to resurface.  In some instances they are living in a new space, not tailored to their needs.  We want every child to know that there are people in the world who care about them and their well-being, and expect nothing in return.
